Description: Adapted. Tall fan palm. Stout, solitary trunk; full crown of stiff, green, fan-shaped fronds. Growth is slow but once established it is highly durable and long-lived. May through June, small, cream-colored flowers appear on branched inflorescences, followed by small black fruits, which may attract birds. Wind pollinated. Moderate to high salt tolerance. Deer resistant. Use as focal point, or rows/groupings.
