Description: Adapted. Tall, fast-growing columnar cactus with upright, bluish-green stems and prominent ribs. Large, Summer night-blooming white flowers appear on mature plants (3-8 years) followed by edible red or purple fruit. Attracts pollinators, including bats and moths. In large containers, expect a mature size of 4-6ft tall and 3-4ft wide. Best suited for full sun and excellent drainage; protect from extended freezes in ground or in containers Vertical habit creates a bold presence.
