Description: This plant is a close relative to agave. Variegated yellow and green, spinless, broad sword shaped leaves are 4 to 6ft long and arise from a basal rosette. The flower stalk can reach 25ft tall and has greenish white flowers that are scented and draw bees. The basal rosette will die after flowering but new plants will form along the old stalk. Good plant for coastal weather and it prefers not to be placed in full hot sun in the Austin area.
