Description: Native. Iconic, trunk-forming with dense, symmetrical crown of slender, powdery blue-gray leaves held in a spherical rosette atop a slow-developing trunk. Leaf margins are smooth and flexible. Late spring to early summer, flower spikes rising 10-14ft H with clusters of creamy white blooms that attract pollinators. Deer tolerant. Exceptionally drought-tolerant and cold-hardy when planted in full sun with sharp drainage. Performs well as a striking architectural specimen in dry, modern, or low-maintenance landscapes.
