Light Requirement: Sun
Water Need: Low
Cold Hardiness: Zone 7 (0 to 5 F) to 11 (above 40F)
Description: A trunk forming yucca that also forms a colony. The pliable, hanging green leaves can reach up to 3ft long. The leaves have a spiny tip, and the older leaves can be removed to show off the trunk. In late spring to early summer, the plant forms a 5ft tall flower stalk with bell-shaped blooms that attract hummingbirds. Not very fussy about soil type if it is well drained. Deer and drought tolerance once established.
