Description: Large, fast-growing shade tree adapted to Texas. Tolerates most soils, including alkaline. Leaves have a silvery underside and are distinguished from American Sycamore because they have fewer teeth on the edges. In addition, the bark is smooth where the American Sycamore is mottled. Also tolerant of dust, smog, and soot. Drought tolerance once established.
