Description: Adapted. Compact, clumping species often confused with texana, forming arching mounds of narrow, medium-green foliage with fine teeth along the edges. Sends up 4-6ft H flower stalks bearing small, creamy flowers in late spring to summer, attracting pollinators. Prefers well-drained soils and full sun but tolerates light shade. Evergreen and highly drought-tolerant once established. Deer-resistant and easy-care. Great for dry meadows, borders, and habitat plantings.
