Description: Hybrid succulents bred from Agave and Manfreda. Dramatic leaf form, vibrant color, speckling, and fast growth. Most form compact to wide rosettes of fleshy, often tooth-edged leaves in shades of blue, green, purple, or burgundy, frequently marked with distinctive spots or streaks. Many cultivars produce pups over time, gradually forming clumps. Mature plants may send up flowering stalks 5-8ft tall, bearing tubular blooms in greenish, pink, lavender, or cream hues, attracting pollinators. While tolerant of full sun, many display better color and vigor with some afternoon shade in intense summer heat. Require excellent drainage. Evergreen in mild climates, though most benefit from freeze protection below 20F. Drought-tolerant once established, with occasional deep watering to maintain vivid foliage. Generally deer resistant and ideal for containers, raised beds, xeric borders, or sculptural modern landscapes.

Aztec King: Large, wide rosette of green-gray leaves with deep burgundy spotting; bold and architectural. Will set pups after 2-3 seasons. Mature Size: 2-3ft H, 3-4ft W

Pineapple Express: Narrow, arching green leaves with burgundy speckles; pineapple-like form adds texture. Pups set loose clusters over time. Mature Size: 1-2ft H, 2ft W

Tooth Fairy: Compact blue-green rosette; bold golden marginal teeth; strong textural accent. Produces pups under favorable conditions. Mature Size: 12-18in H, 18-24in W
