Attractive to pollinators especially hummingbirds and large butterflies. Mandevilla; vigorous, twining climber ideal for covering trellises, fences, and arbors during the warm season. Dipladenia; more compact, with glossier, smaller leaves and a bushier, trailing habit suited to hanging baskets, patio pots, or low borders. Both bloom prolifically from late spring until frost. Deer-resistant and relatively pest-free if grown in well-draining soil. Typically grown in containers that can be brought indoors or in sheltered microclimates for overwintering. Trellis form.

Dipladenia: Shrub-like, trailing form; can be trained upward with support but remains more compact. Mature Size: 1-3ft H, 1-2ft W.
