Botanical Name: Jasminum nudiflorum
Mature Size: 6-10ft H, 4-6ft W, Varies with Training
Light Requirement: Sun
Water Need: Medium
Cold Hardiness: Zone 6 (-10 to -5F) to 9 (25 to 30F)
Description: Adapted. Deciduous, trailing or arching shrub often grown as a vine, with green, angular stems and bright yellow, non-fragrant flowers. Blooms typically begin in January or February and last into early March. More tolerant of poor soils than most jasmines and rarely bothered by pests or deer. Prune right after its late-winter to early-spring bloom to encourage new flowering stems and keep the arching, twining habit neat. Excellent for adding early-season color to trellises, slopes, retaining walls, as cascading groundcover in winter-interest gardens, or slopes for erosion control.
