Description: Adapted. Fast-growing annual vine in the morning glory family with delicate, feathery foliage and masses of small, star-shaped flowers in red, pink, or white. Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, and other pollinators from mid-summer until frost. Started from seed in spring it quickly covers fences, trellises, or arbors. Dies completely with frost but often self-seeds. Can be invasive in riparian areas. Prefers well-drained soil and can tolerate heat and poor soils once established. Excellent for quick seasonal coverage, fine-textured foliage, and continuous summer-to-fall blooms.
