Description: Adapted. Broad, thick gray-blue to white-green leaves, darker core, edged in large, jagged teeth; tipped with strong terminal spine. Tight rosette. Monocarpic (dies after flowering) and may produce a few offsets. Flower spike, at 10-20 years, can reach 10-14 feet tall. Pale yellow blooms attract pollinators. Best with excellent drainage; benefits from protection during hard freezes; wet winters. Ideal for containers, architectural focal points, or modern xeric landscapes.
