Botanical Name: Yucca striata
Mature Size: 4-6ft H, 3-4ft W
Light Requirement: Sun
Water Need: Very Low
Cold Hardiness: Zone 8 (10 to 15F) to 10 (30 to 35F)
Description: Adapted. Trunkless or very short-trunked species with narrow, stiff, blue-gray leaves arranged in a tight, symmetrical rosette. Fine white leaf margins and a striated texture give this yucca its distinctive look. Late spring to early summer, flower spikes reach 8-12ft H, topped with creamy white, bell-shaped blooms that attract pollinators. Extremely drought-tolerant and deer resistant. Requires full sun and sharp drainage, especially in winter. An excellent choice for dry gardens, desert-style plantings, or fine-textured contrast in bold compositions.
