Botanical Name: Yucca linearifolia hybrids
Mature Size: 3-5ft H, 3-4ft W
Light Requirement: Sun
Water Need: Very Low
Cold Hardiness: Zone 7 (0 to 5F) to 10 (30 to 35F)
Description: Adapted. Hybrid selections featuring soft, grass-like blue-green foliage. Often with a more vigorous growth habit or slightly broader leaves depending on the variety. Foliage forms dense, symmetrical rosette atop a short trunk that slowly develops with age. In late spring, upright flower spikes reaching 6-9ft H with creamy white blooms that attract pollinators. Fibrous foliage is highly deer tolerant despite soft texture. Requires full sun and excellent drainage. Performs well as a sculptural accent or fine-textured contrast in modern, low-water landscapes.
