Description: A yucca native to Mexico and, usually, of tree-like form. The stiff leaves have a brown stripe along the edges, are otherwise a dull green, and have white, fuzzy fibers along the edge as well. The leaves can also reach up to 30inches in length and will form a skirt around the tree as they die. The plant will flower every 3 to 4 years with a stalk up to 7ft high and weighing as much as 70 lbs. Flowers on this stalk are bell shaped and pendulous. Plants are adaptable to many soil types as long as they are well drained.
