Description: Native. Stemless, clumper with flexible, sword-shaped green leaves lined with distinctive curly white filaments. Forms low, dense rosettes and spreads gradually through underground stems. In summer, upright flower spikes reaching 5-6ft H, bearing clusters of creamy white, bell-shaped blooms that attract pollinators. Extremely deer tolerant. Develops deep and extensive root system that enhances drought resistance and makes it difficult to transplant once established. Very cold-hardy and thrives in full sun with well-drained soil. Performs well as a durable ground-level accent or massed in low-maintenance, dry landscapes.
