Botanical Name: Yucca filamentosa Excaliber
Mature Size: 6-8ft H, 3-5ft W
Light Requirement: Sun
Water Need: Very Low
Cold Hardiness: Zone 6 (-5 to 0F) to 10 (30 to 35F)
Description: Cultivar. Refined, trunking with symmetrical crown of slender, powdery blue-gray leaves radiating from a single trunk. Leaves are narrower and more compact than typical Yucca rostrata, giving the plant a dense, formal appearance. In late spring, it produces a dramatic flower spike reaching 8-12ft H, topped with creamy white flowers that attract pollinators. Deer avoid. Cold-hardy and drought-resistant, it thrives in full sun with excellent drainage. Performs well as a high-impact architectural specimen in modern or desert-inspired landscapes.
