Description: Larger than the Mexican Sycamore, fast-growing shade tree adapted to Texas. Leaves do not have a silvery underside, and they have more teeth than the Mexican Sycamore do. Also, the bark has a mottled look where Mexican Sycamore is smoother. Tolerates most soils, including alkaline. Also tolerant of dust, smog, and soot. Drought tolerance once established.
