Description: Adapted. Upright, branching succulents with thick, woody stems and rounded, glossy green leaves often tinged with red at the edges in bright light. Grows slowly into a miniature tree form, especially in containers, and responds well to pruning. Must be protected from frost. Protect from intense reflected heat, especially on patios or near walls. Afternoon shade also helps prevent sun scorch in peak summer Drought-tolerant and well-suited to indoor containers or patio pots with excellent drainage; best overwintered indoors or in a greenhouse.
