Description: Adapted. Symmetrical rosette of slender, blue-green leaves with fine marginal teeth and a graceful, arching habit. Typically has narrower leaves and a more airy appearance than D. wheeleri Mature plants may develop a short trunk and produce a narrow flower spike up to 12-14ft H, attracting pollinators. Performs best in full sun and well-drained soil. Extremely drought- and heat-tolerant, evergreen in mild winters, and deer-resistant. Excellent for xeric gardens, southwestern landscapes, or as a sculptural focal point.
