Description: Native. Hardy with bright green, moderately serrated leaves radiating from a compact rosette. Thrives in rocky limestone soils and full sun. One of the most cold-tolerant Sotols. Mature plants may produce a slender flower spike up to 10-12ft H in summer, attracting pollinators. Evergreen in most Texas winters and extremely drought-tolerant once established. Deer-resistant. Well-suited for wildlife-friendly landscapes, xeriscapes, and Texas-native plantings.
