Description: Adapted. Fine-textured, thread-thin, non-serrated green leaves, forming a perfectly rounded, grassy sphere. Unlike many, the leaf margins are smooth. Grows slowly and may eventually develop a short trunk with age. Tall bloom stalk, up to 10-12ft H, may emerge after several years, bearing small ivory flowers that are attractive to pollinators. Requires full sun and sharply drained soil. Exceptionally heat- and drought-tolerant, evergreen in mild winters, and deer-resistant. Ideal for contemporary landscapes, dry courtyards, an architectural specimen and as a safer Sotol choice near walkways.
