Description: A Texas native, compact, long-blooming perennial with masses of deep violet to purple, snapdragon-like flowers from spring through fall. This drought-tolerant plant thrives in rocky, well-drained soils. Commonly found in prairies and woodland edges. Excellent for borders, native gardens, wildscapes, and xeriscapes. Drought tolerance with minimal maintenance once established. Deer-resistant and attracts pollinators. Cut back by 1/3 after bloom as needed.
