Description: An adapted, upright dark-leaved perennial with pink flowers from late spring through a hard frost. Sunlight equates to more blooms. Tolerates wet feet. Drought tolerance once established but will appreciate regular irrigation and an application of phosphorous. No need to remove spent flowers. Deer and salt tolerance. Often used in erosion control and borders. Will reseed but not like the standard Mexican petunia.
