Description: Adapted semi-evergreen shrub with dark green foliage, clusters of small white spring flowers, and bright orange to red berries in fall and winter. Thorny branches make it useful as a security barrier when grown naturally, but espalier training showcases its structure while controlling spread. Prefers well-drained soil and benefits from occasional pruning to maintain shape and encourage fruiting. Drought-tolerant once established.
