Description: Adapted. Fast-growing, semi-evergreen to evergreen twining vine; glossy, dark green leaves; clusters of star-shaped white to pale-blue flowers with yellow centers from spring through fall, peaking in late spring. Foliage may thin or drop after hard freezes but quickly recovers in spring. Best flowering in full sun, though afternoon shade can protect blooms and foliage in extreme heat. Drought-tolerant once established but flowers longer with moderate irrigation in dry spells. Non-invasive, easy-care, and responds well to pruning for shape or size control. Excellent for covering trellises, arbors, or fences in low-water or Mediterranean-style gardens, with long-season floral interest.
