Description: Evergreen large shrub or small tree, native to the Mediterranean, and adapted to Texas. The small leaves are olive green and tough. Male and female both produce small white flowers but only the female produces red berries. Salt, and once established, drought tolerant. Use it as a windbreak, screen, or patio tree.
