Description: Grass-like plant with triangular stems, native to the tropics. The stems have a whorl of 10-25 leaves that is umbrella like in appearance. The dwarf form grows to about 2 feet tall, prefers wet and sandy, acidic soil. Papyrus prefers full sun, otherwise the stems will droop. Shallow water is also the best environment for it.
