Description: A very slow growing, prehistoric evergreen native to the tropics of Southern Japan. Sago Palm is technically a Cycad. Palm-like fronds that curl under sit atop a short single trunk with shaggy brown bark. Use as a focal point or in a container. If in a container, the plant will stay smaller, but it may also need winter protection. In the landscape, it pairs well with succulents and works as a focal point.
