Description: This Sabal Palm is native to the Bahamas, Cuba, and the SE US. It has a rounded head which begins at about half to 2/3rds from the trunk base. The leaves have a definite midrib. The flowers draw pollinators and the fruit birds. This palm prefers a humid climate and sandy soil and is very salt tolerant.
