Spring small, fragrant cream-colored flowers borne on long clusters; large numbers of small, purplish fruits that are not cultivated for eating but may attract birds. Wind pollinated. Moderate salt tolerance. Deer resistant. Use as stately specimen or in rows along formal long driveways.
