Description: An ancient, slow growing palm-like Cycad native to Mexico. Dark green fronds, that resemble cardboard with fuzz, can be up to 3 feet long, growing from an almost ground level single low trunk. Females might produce cones of rusty brown with bright red seeds. Use as an accent, in low borders, and is often used as a houseplant as well.
