Description: Native to south Texas but can be a weed in other parts of the world. Sprawling shrub with a woody base and soft stems. Light bluish-purple flowers from late summer to fall attract butterflies. Plant may move due to reseeding. It is deciduous and may freeze back to the ground. It is best to cut it back at least once a year.
