Description: Cultivar. Broad, arching gray-green leaves densely speckled with purple-maroon, especially in full sun. Small, flexible teeth along leaf margins. Large, symmetrical rosette. May bloom after several years, sending up 6-8ft H stalk with pale pink to greenish tubular blooms attracting pollinators. Cultivar is not strictly monocarpic and typically survives flowering by freely producing pups at its base. May benefit from partial shade during peak summer heat to prevent leaf burn. Requires excellent drainage and minimal water, after establishment, more in times of extended drought. Evergreen in mild winters; protect from extended hard freezes. Deer-resistant and low-maintenance. Ideal for architectural planting schemes, rock gardens, or large containers.
