Mature Size: 15-30ft H, 4-8ft W, Highly aggressive and considered invasive in Texas

Cold Hardiness: Zone 4 (-30 to -25F) to 9 (25 to 30F)
Description: Adapted. Vigorous, semi-evergreen to evergreen twining vine; intensely fragrant white flowers aging to yellow late spring through summer. Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, and other pollinators, and produces small black berries eaten by birds. Retains most foliage in mild winters and rebounds quickly after freezes. Not for riparian areas, woodland edges, and untended landscapes where it can smother trees and outcompete native vegetation. Spreads both by seed and rooting stems. Difficult to fully eradicate once established; best avoided for ecological reasons. Blooms on new growth, but excessive cutting stimulates rampant regrowth. Landscape Use: Not recommended.
