Description: Cultivar. Yellow-flowering selection; same durable, low-maintenance traits as the classic red form. Clumps of narrow, arching foliage produce tall, upright flower stalks reaching 6-8ft H, adorned with bright yellow tubular blooms from late spring through summer; favored by hummingbirds and other pollinators. Full sun but appreciates afternoon shade in areas of reflected/intense summer heat. Additional water in extended droughts. Deer tolerance once established. Evergreen. Excellent for borders, medians, or bright accents in xeric designs.
