Description: Large deciduous, fibrous root forming, grass native to much of North America. Fairly wide blades, shades of orange in fall, with flower plumes above, late summer to late fall. Good to mass plant in moist prairie areas. Important food source for wildlife. Before new spring growth, cut back to 8 inches.
