Description: Warm season, long lived grass native to much of North America and one of the shortest ones. Leaves are fine with blue green seedheads held horizontally from the top of each stem. Cold season dormant with a tan color. Attracts birds and butterflies. Prefers gravelly soil and is very drought tolerant once established.
