Description: Deciduous, slow growing tree native to Asian and well adapted to Texas. Grafted variety. Low chill requirements sometimes mean they break dormancy before last cold snaps are through for the year. Prune to a pyramidal shape. Fruit is developed on new wood. Self-pollinating but benefit from another Fuyu nearby. Autumn colors are green, gold, orange, and red. Although drought tolerant, fruit will benefit from moisture.
