Description: Foxglove is an upright biennial forming a basal rosette of long green leaves the first year and a flower the second. It dies back to the ground in winter and does reseed. Flowers are tubular and held on a single stalk that can rise to 2ft above the foliage. Flower colors range from white, pink, to purple and have dark spots in the center. They also do well as a thriller in container plantings.
