Description: One of several hybrid large evergreen shrubs with variegated wavy edged leaves. Flowers, in fall, are insignificant looking but strongly scented, and turn to berries significant to birds in cooler periods. This shrub is known to send out branches from the base, up to 2ft in height, often with no leaves. Can be kept tightly pruned and makes a very durable heat and drought tolerant hedge. Does not like wet feet.
