Description: Distyliums are a fairly new, hybrid, group of about 5 evergreen plants. Often used in place of Boxwood. Reddish maroon flowers from late January through March, followed by small brown seed pod. Require little pruning. Heat and drought tolerance, once established, but able to deal with wet soils too. High resistance to deer and rabbit.
