Description: Very similar, including the clove scent, to the annual varieties except that they behave as perennials, coming back year after year. Plenty of colors to choose from. Shield plants from high heat and the hot summer sun. These plants prefer neutral to acidic soil. They do appreciate mulch but not too close to the foliage. They need good ventilation. They are toxic to humans and animals.
