Description: A hybrid crape myrtle proving its worth since 1986. Broad, spreading crown, a grooved trunk, and green leaves turning orange red in fall. Summer flowers are dark pink to almost red. Drought tolerance once established. Sometimes grown in tree form. When it is grown as a tree form, this variety will attain the largest diameter trunk of all crape myrtle currently. Drought tolerance once established.
