Description: A summer blooming, heat loving, perennial native to much of the US and with many hybrids also available. Bloom colors range from white, to pink, red, salmon, orange, yellow, and purple. Varying hybrid heights are also available. Blooms tend to attract large numbers of pollinators although the native types, although not as showy, tend to be more beneficial for them. Drought tolerant but will bloom consistently with even moisture. Plants require at least 4 hours of sun a day.
