Description: Heat resistant Texas Superstar type of the soft textured Columbine. Large gold flowers in spring. Plants will reseed, although seedlings have a hard time in the summer and the whole plant may go dormant in Texas summers. Flowers in early and may last up to two months. Save the seedhead and reseed near established plants in the fall, if desired. Attractive to bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Deer tend to avoid.
