Description: Extremely slow growing, thorny upright cactus adapted to Texas. Less picky about soil type than Arizona Saguaro and has fewer spines than Arizona Saguaro but they are longer and reddish brown in color. June flowers, that result in red fruit, are also larger than the Arizona. More cold hardy as well.
