Description: A fast growing, non-aggressive semi evergreen vining shrub. To use as a vine, provide support, or let it create a mounding shrub. The leaves are dark green, and flowers are yellow orchid shaped. Flowers in late spring, and sporadically during the season, are attractive to pollinators. Flowers are followed by golden winged pods that resemble butterflies. Drought and heat tolerance once established, even in western and reflected heat exposure. Prune in spring to maintain the structure. All parts are toxic.
