Description: Understory, deciduous tree native to much of the US. Leaves are oval, glossy green and held late into fall. Insignificant, yellowish flowers, May through June, bring fleshy red to black fruit favored by birds. Although plant can take full sun, it will have a more open, airy look with just 4 to 6 hours of sunlight daily.
