Description: Tropical, large thorned, plant with trailing and upright forms and many choices in bloom color. The plants are native to Brazil and will sulk below 55 degrees Fahrenheit but will not tolerate a freeze so make sure they are in a garage or similar environment during cold weather. Keep even moisture but not waterlogged. Bougainvilla bloom on new wood so keep them pruned for lots of bloom. Feed every 6 to 8 weeks during the blooming season. Can be grown on a trellis or as a groundcover. Staked Bush form.
